Jessica Nichols, Nurse Practitioner and Owner
Jessica is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for proactive healthcare and whole-body wellness. A Kansas City native, she earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri, her Master's degree from the University of Kansas, and her Doctorate from Duke University. Believing that true wellness comes from caring for the mind, body, and soul, Jessica founded Graceful Wellness to help others discover their confidence and achieve their health and beauty goals. She is dedicated to bringing the latest treatments, education, and wellness solutions to the Kansas City community and beyond. When she's not caring for clients or growing Graceful, Jessica enjoys cheering on her three children at their activities and spending time with her four-legged family members.
Jamie Millam, Yoga Lead and Owner
Jamie has been helping others find balance through movement and mindfulness since earning her certification from The Yoga School of Therapeutics in 2019. As an experienced instructor, she teaches a variety of classes for all skill levels, focusing on gentle movement, stress relief, and overall wellness. Drawing from her own experiences, Jamie believes that exercise is a powerful tool for managing stress, calming the nervous system, and supporting a healthy, balanced life. Her classes emphasize self-care, mindfulness, and creating space to slow down and reconnect with yourself. Outside the studio, Jamie enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog, finding joy in life's simple moments.
Daphne Gafford, Licensed Esthetician
With 17 years of experience as a licensed esthetician, Daphne is passionate about helping clients achieve healthy, glowing skin through personalized treatment plans. A graduate of the Johnson County Community College Esthetics Program, she believes that great skin comes from using the right products, staying consistent with treatments, and committing to a skincare routine that works for you. Daphne takes pride in building lasting relationships with her clients and creating customized experiences that deliver real results. When she's not at Graceful, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.
Emily Kunz, Registered Nurse
Emily is a highly skilled Nurse Injector with a passion for helping clients feel confident and refreshed. After attending Kansas State University and St. Mary's University, she began her nursing career in the Pediatric ICU at Children's Mercy. She became certified in aesthetics in 2019 and has a natural, conservative approach to treatments, always prioritizing her clients' goals and needs. Outside of Graceful, Emily enjoys traveling and spending time with her French Bulldog, Henry.
Kaylee Mauser, Registered Nurse, Personal Trainer and Certified in Nutrition
Kaylee is a Nurse Injector, Certified Nutrition Coach, and Personal Trainer who is passionate about helping clients look and feel their best. A graduate of Arizona State University, she began her nursing career in pediatrics at Children's Mercy and has been working in aesthetics since 2017. With a holistic approach to wellness, Kaylee offers both aesthetic treatments and nutrition coaching to help clients achieve their goals from the inside out. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her 7-year-old daughter, watching Netflix, relaxing with a hot bath, and has even danced professionally for both the NBA and NFL.
Maya Hayles, Social Media and Marketing
As Graceful’s Social Media and Marketing Manager, Maya brings creativity, fresh ideas, and a passion for storytelling to the brand. A graduate of the University of Kansas, she loves creating engaging content that showcases the people, treatments, and wellness services that make Graceful special.
Outside of the office, Maya enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and cheering on the Jayhawks. Rock Chalk!
Raygan Tipton, Licensed Esthetician
Raygan is a licensed esthetician from Lee’s Summit who is passionate about helping clients feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. With a love for skincare and personalized treatments, her favorite service is the Dermaplane Facial, which leaves clients with a smooth, radiant glow. When she's not at Graceful, Raygan enjoys staying active and spending time with her husband and Australian Shepherd puppy.
Karla Funes, LE, Medical Esthetician
Karla Funes is a dual-licensed esthetician in Missouri and Kansas with a background that bridges both aesthetic and clinical care. Her dual training as a medical assistant allows her to work seamlessly alongside nurse practitioners in a clinical setting- supporting not just treatments, but the full patient care experience. Karla is passionate about creating a comfortable, informed environment for every client, and proudly serves both English- and Spanish-speaking patients. Whether you’re addressing hyperpigmentation, aging concerns, unwanted hair, or simply looking to elevate your skincare routine, Karla is dedicated to helping you achieve your most confident skin!
