Our mission is to bring out your inner glow. We welcome anyone who is seeking wellness - however you define that. We provide holistic wellness and med spa services which include esthetics, skin care guidance and products, yoga, injectables, and nutrition services.
We provide a serene and inclusive environment from the chaos of life. Authentic beauty is not just on the outside. We are committed to working with you on every step of the journey to optimal wellness. We are proud to have a network of partners in our community (and some in our clinic) to help with body, mind and soul health.
About Us
Jessica Nichols, Nurse Practitioner and Owner
Jessica is a doctorally prepared Nurse Practitioner whose passion is proactive health care and wellness. Wellness means treating mind, body, and soul. Treating each area independently of the others only achieves partial wellness. Her drive to help people discover their own beauty lead to the creation of Graceful. Learning more about how we can each take care of ourselves best motivates her to find the most ideal treatments, education and products for the Kansas City community and beyond.
Jamie Millam, Yoga Lead and Owner
Jamie received her certification through The Yoga School of Therapeutics in 2019. She is a highly experienced instructor and teaches a variety of classes for all skill levels. Her experience includes teaching thousands of people simple yoga moves and meditation techniques to help achieve optimal wellness. Her guiding principles for all classes include not only incorporating movement but also focusing on how to slow down, calm your internal nervous system and experience total self-care. Drawing from her own personal experiences taught Jamie that exercise is a prescription for stress management, anxiety and overall wellness. Her passions outside of yoga include spending time with her husband, daughter and dog finding joy everyday in the simple things.
Daphne Gafford, Licensed Esthetician
Daphne has been a licensed Esthetician for 17 years and attended Johnson County Community College Esthetic program. She prides herself on customizing treatments for every client to target and treat their skin so they receive the best outcome and make a lasting relationship. Her motto for skin is “Use the right products and dedication to treatments and the commitment will show." She has been in Kansas City for 20 years and enjoys spending time with her two sons and husband.
Emily Kunz, Registered Nurse
Emily is a highly talented and experienced injectors here at Graceful! She attended Kansas State and St Marys and went on to be a pediatric ICU nurse at Children's Mercy. Emily has always had an interest in aesthetics and got certified in 2019. Her focus with clients is a natural and conservative approach. Listening to the patient's needs is her priority. In her free time, Emily enjoys traveling and spending time with her French Bulldog, Henry.
Kaylee Mauser, Registered Nurse, Personal Trainer and Certified in Nutrition
Meet Kaylee, one of our fantastic injectors. personal trainer and nutrition coach! She graduated from ASU and pursued a career in pediatric nursing, specializing in psychiatric nursing at Children's Mercy. She has been in aesthetics since 2017 and is passionate about making clients feel like their best selves. Kaylee is also certified in nutrition coaching and offers consults here at Graceful. She also has a 7-year-old daughter, previously danced for the NBA and NFL, and loves binge-watching Netflix and hot baths in her free time.
Maya Hayles, Social Media Manager
Meet Maya, our social media manager at Graceful. Currently pursuing a digital marketing degree at the University of Kansas, Maya brings creativity and a fresh perspective to our online presence. She enjoys creating content in the office, spending time outdoors, traveling, and cheering on the Jayhawks.
